Marie Patane is currently the Executive Director of Enterprise Security for Sydney Metro, Australia\u2019s largest public transport project. She is a recognised leader in the areas of security, business continuity, risk analysis, and crisis management. In 2019, she received the Business Continuity Institute\u2019s Continuity and Resilience Professional (Private Sector) Award, and in 2021, she was the AWSN winner of Australia\u2019s Most Outstanding Woman in Protective Security. In 2022, her team was awarded the Outstanding Security Team for the Australian Outstanding Security Performance Awards. More recently, Marie was awarded Most Outstanding In-House Security Manager\/Director for the 2023 Australian Outstanding Security Performance Awards, and she has been honoured as the Australian Female Cyber Security Leader for 2024 at the Australian Cyber Security Awards.<\/p>\n
