{"id":8895,"date":"2024-07-30T12:02:58","date_gmt":"2024-07-30T02:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psgconference.com\/2024\/?post_type=our_team&#038;p=8895"},"modified":"2024-07-30T12:04:21","modified_gmt":"2024-07-30T02:04:21","slug":"natalie-pearse","status":"publish","type":"our_team","link":"https:\/\/psgconference.com\/2024\/our_team\/natalie-pearse\/","title":{"rendered":"Natalie Pearse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Director, Protective Security Policy<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Government Cyber and Protective Security<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Cyber Security Policy Division | Cyber and Infrastructure Security Group<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Department of Home Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Natalie Pearse was appointed Director of the Protective Security Policy for the Australian Government in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Natalie joined the public service in 2000 and has worked in a wide range of national security roles, including in operations, intelligence and policy, both on and offshore.<\/p>\n<p>Natalie and her section recently transferred from the Attorney-General\u2019s Department to the Department of Home Affairs as part of a Machinery of Government change. This transfers supports the agreed roles and responsibilities for the Minister for Cyber Security, and the broader Commonwealth Cyber Security Uplift efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Natalie is responsible for the policy development and implementation of the Protective Security Policy Framework.
