Mr. Price has twice been awarded an order of Australia: An OAM in 2009 and an AM in 2017.<\/p>\n

Peter Price AM is a director of Crime Stoppers Australia and Crime Stoppers CEO in NSW, which is attached to NSW Police Force.<\/p>\n

2024 marks Peter\u2019s 25th year in Crime Stoppers.<\/p>\n

He served as Vice President of Crime Stoppers International (located in The Hague) for 14 years and played a significant role in the relationship with INTERPOL in running global campaigns, mostly around fugitive apprehension, online child sexual abuse and environmental crime.<\/p>\n

He was invited to the White House to engaged in strategic discussions on cyber security, during the Obama Administration.<\/p>\n

He has spoken at the United Nations and represented Australia at many international Policing \/ INTERPOL conferences around the world.<\/p>\n

Peter has a diverse background. Born in the UK, schooled in South Africa and the USA.<\/p>\n

He served in the South African armed forces. Attended university in South Africa and studied both Law and Advertising.<\/p>\n

His experiences as a victim of multiple crimes in South Africa helped steer him in the direction of violence prevention and law enforcement advocacy.<\/p>\n

Those experiences have taken him on a life path which has positively impacted millions of people around the globe.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Criminal Law roles, Peter has undertaken a Civil Law role:<\/p>\n

He was the Deputy Chairman of the Australian Government’s “Classification Review Board”, appointed by the Governor General, for 7 years.<\/p>\n

And a Director of the Internet Industry Association from 2011 to 2014.<\/p>\n
