Connie McIntosh

Connie McIntosh is the Head of Security at Ericsson, where she is responsible for overseeing Cyber Security, Information Security, Product Security, Operational Security, and Privacy across 40 countries. With over 20 years of experience in Network and Cyber Security, Connie is a distinguished cybersecurity professional and leader. She works closely with Customer Units, R&D, Global Services, and Business Areas to secure Ericsson end-to-end.

Connie is a passionate advocate for cybersecurity, particularly in promoting and mentoring women in the field. Her dedication and leadership have earned her numerous accolades, including being named one of the Top 100 Women in Cybersecurity Worldwide by US Cyber Defense Magazine and winning the Black Unicorn Award at Blackhat 2020.

An experienced conference presenter, speaker, and moderator, Connie has made significant contributions to the cybersecurity community. She has worked for the Australian Government’s CERT and the Department of Defence, managing Cyber Operations and developing a Masters Cyber Program at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Connie holds both Masters and Bachelors Degrees, along with a comprehensive list of specialist training in Cybersecurity. Her motto, “alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much,” reflects her commitment to fostering collaboration and excellence in cybersecurity.
