Dr Jennifer McCarthy is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist. In 2018, she become the founding Forensic Mental Health Operations Manager of the Victorian Fixated Threat Assessment Centre, a joint collaborative unit between Forensicare and the Counter Terrorism Command of Victoria Police. Dr McCarthy has also previously worked as Manager of the Problem Behaviour Program at Forensicare for 7 years. She has been working in the field of psychological assessment and intervention with adults within clinical and forensic settings for the last 20 years both in Australia and the UK. Dr McCarthy has published papers in the areas of adult sexual offending, Autism Spectrum Disorder and the national security environment, and threat assessment.
