Mike Wilde

Mike Wilde is the Chief Operating Officer at the NSW Crime Commission, a role he has held since February 2014. With over a decade of experience in leading one of Australia’s premier law enforcement agencies, Mike is dedicated to preventing, disrupting, and reducing organised and serious crime, as well as confiscating the proceeds of crime.

Before joining the NSW Crime Commission, Mike served as the Business Value Manager at the NSW Department of Education from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, he spent over five years with the Royal Australian Air Force, where he held pivotal roles such as Director of Air Mobility Programs and Director of the Minor Capability Investment Program.

Mike’s career also includes a stint as an Operations Manager at the Department of Justice NSW in 2007. His extensive background in both public sector management and military operations underscores his expertise in strategic planning, operational readiness, and capability development.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business & IT from the University of Central Lancashire, along with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB HONS Dip HE in Law) from the same institution. In 2023, Mike completed the Executive Fellows Program at the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG), further enhancing his leadership credentials.

With his wealth of experience and a strong educational background, Mike Wilde is a distinguished professional in the fields of law enforcement, strategic management, and organisational leadership.
