Pierre Andipatin is a highly accomplished security professional, renowned for his exceptional contributions to global risk and security management. With over 15 years of relevant experience, Pierre has provided strategic, operational, and tactical support to a wide range of government, not-for-profit, and private organisations, operating in some of the world’s most dynamic and high-threat environments.
Pierre’s extensive international experience includes working in 17 countries and conducting on-the-ground security deployments in 10 countries. He has a diverse background in operational security leadership, collaborating closely with law enforcement and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). As the global head of risk and security for an Australian Government overseas aid program, Pierre has been instrumental in preparing and delivering pre-departure security training for hundreds of Australians deployed overseas, as well as for locally engaged staff.
Pierre’s responsibilities have encompassed high-threat journey management, contingency planning, and contributing to post-crisis planning. He has led planning and evacuations for civil unrest, armed conflict, terrorism incidents, and natural disasters. His notable achievements include executing land and air exfiltration plans and coordinating the global repatriation of nearly 500 Australians from 26 countries in just two weeks.
In addition to his extensive field experience, Pierre contributed to the development of the Victorian Critical Infrastructure Resilience framework as a Senior Officer with the Department of Justice and Emergency Management Victoria.
