Dr Gavriel (Gav) Schneider is a renowned leader in the realm of human-based risk management and the psychology of risk, distinguished for his pioneering work on the concept of Presilience. As a serial entrepreneur with a dynamic career since 2001, Dr Schneider has carved a unique niche in the field, offering a wide spectrum of services across more than 17 countries to an incredibly diverse clientele, from heads of state to school teachers. His expertise is not confined to one area; he is a highly experienced specialist in security, safety, emergency, and risk management, boasting decades of hands-on experience.

Dr Schneider’s academic prowess is equally impressive, serving as the head of the Post Graduate Psychology of Risk program at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) and a senior researcher for the Australian Security Research Centre (ASRC). His role in academia underscores his commitment to advancing knowledge and developing future leaders in the field.

As the CEO of the Risk 2 Solution group of companies (R2S), Dr Schneider leads Australia’s most awarded cyber and physical integrated risk business. A martial artist of high renown, Dr Schneider holds several high-grade black belts in Krav Maga and Jujitsu, showcasing his dedication to discipline and excellence in all aspects of life. He is an inducted member of the South African Martial Arts Hall of Fame and is celebrated for his contributions to martial arts history in Israel.

With a Doctorate in Criminology, a Master’s Degree in Security Risk Management, and numerous other qualifications, Dr Schneider embodies a unique blend of academic excellence, practical experience, and entrepreneurial spirit.
