I began my career as a Civil Engineer and spent over 30 years in leadership roles, specialising in security, compliance, risk management, and government relations.

My shift into project management opened the door to leading a security and risk operations function—an experience that evolved to encompass all facets of security, including fraud prevention and law enforcement. These experiences laid the foundation for my commitment to integrated, enterprise-wide security strategies.

More recently, I transitioned into the consulting space, bringing with me a deep understanding of converged security and the critical role leadership and partnerships play in building mature security risk management programs.

As Head of Security, I led key initiatives across security risk, compliance, and cultural transformation, embedding security practices into the design, construction, and operation of data centres. My expertise spans risk assessment, compliance management, and incident response, with a strong focus on tailoring security measures to meet diverse organisational needs. I combine deep industry knowledge with strategic leadership and clear communication to deliver effective, compliant security strategies and outcomes.

Passionate about staying ahead of emerging threats and technologies, I take pride in delivering cutting-edge security consultancy and fostering the next generation of security professionals. I’m an active member of ASIS International, The Security Institute, and other industry forums, and currently serve as Co-Chair of the Data Sector Group and Chair of ASIS International NSW.
